How to do intelligent edge detected select in GIMP?

Following steps are useful to define edge detection using GIMP.


  1. Use scissor tool(i) 
  2. Continuously  click on the the edges.
  3. At the end click on the starting point. 
  4. Then finally click inside the perimeter to convert ur points into selection. 
  5. And you are done.
TIP: You can invert your selection using the Select->Invert.
